This is a low cost tool for you to cut the factory swage off the brake drum befopr pressing out the lug studs to change brake drums.
The machine tool for this job is over $100, so we decided to give you another alternative. Slow on the drill press with cutting oil, you can cut the swage off the brake drum.
If you skip this step, you risk deforming the rear axle hub or breaking it altogether. The hole saw slides right down over the 1/2" lug stud and you can slowly cut the swage out to release the brake drum.
