    Product Description

    Cowl to windshield seal

     

    Fits all Jeepster/Commando.  Made out of pliable soft rubber. This seal is a new seal--even better than a NOS seal (they were made 40 years ago and are hard and brittle if you could find one). This seal is one piece with the mounting holes, window frame pillar posts and defroster vent openings cast in the seal, NO CUTTING needed for 67/73 Jeepster Commando.  It is a one piece casting (NO GLUING PIECES ON THE ENDS OF THIS SEAL). Also cast in the seal are the 12 1-4" alignment holes for the plastic button pins. You simply slide this seal in place on your windshield frame, press the 12 tabs in place and install it.

     

    If your cowl or windshield frame is not a true flat surface, you may need to apply sealant to the seal, such as 3M weatherstrips adhesive

      I haven't installed it yet but seems to be of excellent quality.The down side was the USPS It arrived in Sacramento fast got a notice it was to be delivered the next day. The next day it went to Anaheim then the next day it came back to Sacramento then I was notified it was to be delivered the next day, sure glad I wasn't in a hurry.

      This seal fits perfectly. It is very pliable and seems to be an exact copy of the factory original. The plastic retaining pins that accompany it helped to hold it in position during the installation.
